This week I’ve been in Sydney for the “Global Ecologies – Local Impacts” Conference, which was run by the Association for the Study of Literature, Environment & Culture, Australia & New Zealand (ASLEC-ANZ) in collaboration with the Sydney Environment Institute (SEI). The three day conference brought in people from a wide range of disciplines. It also offered the opportunity to showcase the Antarctic humanities and social sciences work that is being done by the SCAR Humanities and Social Sciences Expert Group group – we had a panel on the final day.
Below are highlights of the conference, as collected from twitter throughout the three days:
So many interesting talks at #Global2016 conference with @SEI_Sydney and @aslec_anz – #storify can be found here: https://t.co/zsosRFpKh7
